In line with the requirements of circular economy, European Union’s waste management legislative changes also concern treatment sewage sludge. Although sludge production cannot be prevented, its quantities may reduced by synergetic effect energy recovery via choosing a proper technology. Sewage is difficult to apply as fuel alone, because high moisture and ash content. However, use will increased adding suitable materials (different types plastics, tires paper rejects). Most recently, thermal utilization incineration or pyrolysis has grown in importance. This article describes parameters particular their blends connection laboratory-scale decomposition an inert atmosphere, for potential semi-pilot plant unit. For pyrolytic application, results thermogravimetric analysis are needed order know maximal temperature mass losses, weight loss rates. The samples different thermoplastics mixed sludge, low-density polyethylene had lowest residual masses (70–74%) highest rates (11–19%/min).
